Gotta Groove Records Founder and Entrepreneur’s Idea Exchange at Hudson Library Guest speaker, Vince Slusarz, is an entrepreneur fulfilling his dream after many years in the corporate world. He is the owner of Gotta Groove Records (GGR), a vinyl record pressing plant located in Cleveland's Tyler Village complex. GGR was established in 2009 after Slusarz purchased the assets of a pressing plant in New Jersey- Sun Plastics, which had been pressing records since the 1940s.
Prior to launching GGR, Slusarz spent nearly 25 years with Newbury, Ohio based Kinetico Incorporated, a manufacturer of water processing systems, where he held various positions with the company, including Vice President and General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
The Entrepreneur's Idea Exchange (EIE), launched by the University of Akron's College of Business Administration in 2010, is partnering with the library’s Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship Research to co-host this bi-monthly EIE meeting where entrepreneurs can get practical feedback on their business ideas.
